It all started as a distant dream when I was an art student attending classes from a long time friend and wonderful person, and artist Max Rojas. I methodically assisted classes for several years and enjoyed it very much. As my interest and ability grew, I felt the need and desire to buy better quality brushes, paper, and paint. As I set out to look for supplies, I discovered that what was available was very limited or not available at all.

I started to probe and question other art students about their art supplies, and where they had acquired them. To my astonishment, every single one conveyed their discontent with what was available locally.

Being an entrepreneur at heart, I saw an opportunity to fill a vast need, so I set out to make a difference, and started where it is always best to start when you are a person of faith. I began to pray, and ask the Lord for Wisdom and resources in order to open an Art Supply Store.

In a few short months everything fell into place, and I set out to make the distant dream a reality. I met my wonderful friend Chuck, and together we worked to achieve what exists today! We have been open to the public since 1999 and I am still on a mission to find more quality, and variety of art supplies for our customers.

I attribute the birth and continued success of this venture to the one Person who has always been at my side and from whom I have drawn wisdom and strength to carry on.

The Lord Jesus Christ, who has so graciously, provides all we have ever needed and more than we ever believed was possible!
